Hosted annually by The Flave Awards (www.theflaveawards.com), this international competition draws entries from makers around the world and is recognized as one of the premier tasting events for sauces, confections, and specialty foods. Products are blind-judged by a panel of culinary experts, chefs, and industry professionals who evaluate entries on flavor, creativity, and craftsmanship. Sweet Leesa’s award-winning Dark Chocolate Jalapeño Toffee Bark pairs smooth, rich dark chocolate with crunchy toffee pieces and the bold kick of freeze-dried jalapeños. The result is a unique sweet-spicy balance that has become a customer favorite at markets, wineries, and local shops across Idaho. “This recognition is incredibly special to us,” said Leesa Taylor. “As a mom-and-son business, our mission has always been to create chocolates that are unique, memorable, and rooted in quality. To see our Dark Chocolate Jalapeño Toffee Bark honored on an international stage is both humbling and exciting for our team and our customers.” Founded in 2017, Sweet Leesa’s has built a reputation for handcrafted small-batch chocolates, including signature barks, peanut butter cups, and seasonal creations. Each piece is made with care, reflecting a passion for simple, elegant, and bold flavors.
